THE 2021 TAX BILLS PAYABLE IN 2022 ARE MAILED BY THE END OF JANUARY. FIRST HALF PAYMENTS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 28, 2022; SECOND HALF PAYMENTS ARE DUE JUNE 15, 2022; OR IF PAYING IN FULL, PAYMENT IS DUE BY APRIL 30, 2022.

PLEASE NOTE: THE OURAY COUNTY ASSESSOR'S OFFICE IS NOW LOCATED WITHIN THE MAIN COURTHOUSE AT 541 4TH STREET IN OURAY. IF YOU ARE RELUCTANT TO COME SEE US IN PERSON DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE ARE HAPPY TO ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR NEEDS VIA EMAIL, ONLINE, US POSTAL SERVICE AND OVER THE PHONE.

ATTENTION: 2022 is not a reassessment year, therefore, only those parcels with a classification and/or physical change to improvements or land size, as of 1/1/2022, will receive a Notice of Valuation. These notices will be mailed May 1, 2022. The entire month of May is every property owner's opportunity to protest his/her parcel's valuation and/or classification.
